Last Friday morning in Tooele, Utah, a motorcyclist was killed after a teen driver pulled out in front of him in a mini van. The driver had 2 passengers. Nobody in the van was injured but the motorcyclist lost his life. This is a very unfortunate and all too common event throughout the state. At our law firm, we have represented motorcyclists in all types of accidents involving serious injuries and deaths.

The majority of motorcycle accidents are a result of another person’s negligence. In most cases involving motorcycles, the rider is the only victim with serious injuries or death and the driver of the other vehicle failed to maintain a proper lookout and was unharmed. If you or someone you know has been injured or died on a motorcycle after being hit be a negligent driver, call us immediately. We take great pride in helping victims recover for their losses.

Pulling out in front of a bike

It is no secret that the majority of bike accidents involve a driver who simply pulled out because they did not see the bike coming. This is negligence and you deserve to be compensated for your injuries and loss as a result. It doesn’t matter if the driver saw you or not, they should see everyone on the road, and drivers should take all necessary precautions to share the road with motorcyclists. Motorcyclists have rights in Utah and more people need to be concerned for their safety
